The Combat Double-Edged Knife is a unique and inspired reimagining of the classic WWI icon that has made its mark in history and remains relevant today. The knife has a 11” Fire Kissed 1095 carbon steel, double-edged blade with a distressed patina. The trench knife has a solid brass knuckle guard handle with an antiqued finish and “U.S. 1918” deep stamped into it, plus, it has a rock-solid glass breaker. The toothpick knife is 16” in overall length and slides into the included heavy-duty, genuine leather sheath. About Fire Kissed 1095 Steel Through a unique blend of heat treatments and quenches, we have developed a proprietary process to create this extraordinary “Fire Kissed” appearance to our premium 1095 carbon steel. This process was developed over an extensive length of time and allows for a beautiful, blued appearance while maintaining the exceptional Rockwell Hardness of HRC 55-58. With its machined handle and integrated backspacer, the Launch 7, designed by Tim Galyean, has an industrial look that takes it out of the ordinary. The long 3.75-inch clip-point blade of CPM 154 and sculpted handle give the Launch 7 a long, lean profile. Machined contours on both handle top and bottom give it a modern, industrial aesthetic and ensure a solid grip. The backspacer is fully integrated into the handle, adding to the Launch 7’s solid feel and great look.
